"Take 10" and Help Wayne Township Get What it Needs for the Next 10 Years.  The 2010 Census is Easy -- one of the shortest census forms in history.  10 questions & takes about 10 minutes to complete.  It's Important -- Census data are used to reapportion seats in Congress & ensure proper district representation in state and local governements.  Information is used to determine locations for child-care & senior centers, new roads, hospitals, schools and community centers.  It's Safe -- By law, the U.S. Census Bureau cannot share respondents' answers with anyone, including other federal agencies and law enforcement entities.  All Census Bureau employees take an oath of nondisclosure and are sworn for life to protect the confidentiality of the data.

HI-SPEED INTERNET
If you need access to more broadband at your business and/or home, please take a moment to Click Here and fill out an important survey.  Your responses to this survey may significantly impact the effectiveness of the application for broadband stimulus funding.  The Northwest PA Broadband Network will submit for funding through the Broadband Initiatives Programs included int eh American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  The Act includes $7.2 billion to improve access to broadband internet service in underserved communities, businesses in need of better connectivity and rural areas to create jobs and generate investments in technology & infrastructure.

Northwest Commission is continually working with Verizon, in our area, to enable us to have access to DSL Hi-Speed Internet.  By filling out a BFRR (Bona Fide Retail Request) Form, you will at least have a chance to get rid of dial-up internet and get hooked up for hi-speed internet.  Northwest Commision's Website: www.nwcommission.org/bfrr will enable you to view CSA (Customer Service Area) maps and other information on this subject. By clicking the "link" below, you may download & print the BFRR form and bring it to the Wayne Township Municipal Building or mail the form to us:  17395 Sciota Road Corry, PA 16407.  We collect the forms and forward them to the Northwest Commission so that Verizon then receives them.  Let's stick together, fill out and submit the forms so that the BFRR Program can be successful!
