WAYNE TOWNSHIP NEWSLETTER

Wayne Township's last newsletter was published in February 2013. Through early 2013 many legislative changes were taking place. Since then we have not identified enough significant news to justify publishing a newsletter. The increased cost of postage was evaluated against the content importance to our residents and the decision was made to discontinue the newsletter at this time.  We hope you are using our website to keep abreast of current township news.

Wayne Township published its first newsletter in March 2001.  In the last thirteen years we've tried to keep residents updated on township issues and aware of legislation that would impact our daily lives.  In 2004 we devoted most of two issues to the Statewide Building Code.  These were two of our most requested publications.  We're always looking for subject matter that will benefit and interest our readers.  If you have an issue you'd liked addressed in a future newsletter, please contact us.  You can send us an e-mail from this site.

Our February 2013 edition of the township newsletter is now available for viewing.  We have also maintained two past issues on this site for your informatioon.  Just click on the issue date you wish to read.  If you prefer to receive the newsletter on the web or via e-mail, please notify the township office to remove your name from our mailing list. 

The Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) holds an annual "Citizen Communication Contest" that townships may participate in; by entering their newsletters, websites, and other publications.  I entered our June 2010 Newsletter and won First Place in the "Class 4 Category", for the entire state of Pennsylvania.  As you may recall :: In 2008, we won second place for "Most Improved Newsletter", then in 2009 we won second place in the "Class 4 Category".  These awards mean a lot to us, as we are quite proud of our newsletters.
